Corey Pujols, the manager of Dunkins Donuts was busy doing his routine job like any other day when a 77 years old white Dunkin’ customer hurled racist slurs at an employee, he was met with a punch to the head that proved to be fatal. Now the employee who issued the deadly blow is facing manslaughter charges. Many in the African American community are wondering why the “Stand your Ground” law does not apply in this case. Furthermore, racial slurs, like N.. wonder is considered “Fighting words” so in this case, the store manager was provoked with “fighting words”.
Witnesses also stated that the angry white customer became rude to staffers, he was asked to leave, but instead, he parked his car and went inside the building. This is when he began arguing with the store’s Black manager, Corey Pujols.
