Buckhead sushi restaurant’s racist acts history against African Americans caught on video tape

by AfroWorldNews

It wasn’t the dress code that upset the couple, who was asked to leave Umi Sushi before being seated. The Colberts said the frustration and confusion set in when they were being escorted out and spotted what appeared to be another customer—in gym shoes— being served at the bar.

Many in the African American community have long complained of this restaurant for racism.  While the most restaurant is subtle in their racism, this restaurant has a long history of racism targeting African Americans as displayed in the video by the owner.

Colbert said her husband has worn gym shoes to Umi without incident before. This time, they arrived early for their ‪5:15 p.m. reservation last Friday, but the two were told to leave and never seated.

Some people believed  that Umi Sushi owner Farshid Arshid may be related  to the man that called the police that murdered George Floyd
