As COVID-19 Vaccination increases, many Health Insurance Providers have Increasingly Focused Their COVID-19 Actions On Improving Vaccine access and paying for all Covid 19 related hospitalization and treatment cost.
As the variant infections increases, we are now we’re seeing an uptick in U.S. coronavirus cases and hospitalizations — coming primarily from red states, where vaccination rates are well below the national average.
A solid red state like Arkansas has one of the lowest vaccination rates in the country, with less than 35 percent of adults having been fully vaccinated. Now, the state’s low vaccine uptake has crashed headlong into the highly contagious delta variant of the coronavirus, leaving some hospital systems once again teetering on the brink of collapse.
While the majority of “Blue” states are engaging in promotional activities in order to encourage people to get vaccinated. “Red” states and Republican leaders are deliberately making it hard for the nation to achieve herd immunity through the miss-information campaigns and outright false and news propaganda.
Many experts now believe that the only way to persuade the millions of people that are refusing to be vaccinated, especially white Republicans is for Health Insurance companies to stop covering hospitalization costs for those that are unvaccinated if and when they get covid and get sick.
Historically, healthcare companies have penalized people who engage in poor health habits such as smoking, overeating, etc., have been charged higher premiums or placed in a separate insurance risk pool to discourage their unhealthy behavior. The same high-risk assessment needs to be adopted as a means of persuasion to encourage positive behavior.
While many Republican leaders and Trump gangs of lies are eager to encourage their followers to refuse vaccines, they are also quick to ask the Healthcare insurance companies to foot the millions of dollars that it cost to treat Covid patents.
If the unvaccinated are exercising their rights to refuse proven and effective preventive measures, they also should be willing to pay the cost for their treatment if and when they get Covid and become ill.
Many Healthcare experts believe Healthcare insurance companies should start requesting a weaver from all their customers to sign and confirm that they accept the risk and cost that is associated with Covid 19.
