A Michigan police trooper has been charged with felonious assault for using a police dog to setting a vicious dog on an unarmed man for several minutes in November, an encounter that authorities say left the man several bite injuries and was recorded on a police dash camera.
The driver could already be seen lying on the ground, with Surbrook shouting at the police dog, a German shepherd named Knox, to subdue him. The man can be heard in the video pleading with Surbrook to pull Knox off him as the dog puts him on a hold and appears to bite him several times.
In the South, many K-9 dogs were trained to be racist and attack African Americans even on their way to church and work. Many experts insist that some police dogs have been trained to be racist, and it is a frequent and common theme for the police to train German dogs speaking Hitler’s language(German) and using Hitler’s signs.
