Kyle a typical white-(Caucasian) American made an assumption that the people of color in the house had formed a secret alliance. While such assumptions may have surprised many, it does not surprise many African Americans that have become accustomed to the overt generalization of “Black Americans. From birth to death, the American system of education, media, and every socialization institution indoctrinates white Americans that the nation belongs to them and as such, they are entitled at every step of their lives.
So Kyle a typical entitled “white boy” automatically assumed like every other “good-white-American” out there that all “ Blacks are the same and think alike”.
This, along with other comments, made #KKKyle a trending hashtag for the last two weeks and has once again brought the issue of Race to America’s popular TV show. This is a stark reminder of the day-to-day reality of America, where “race” means everything at all levels.
I’m still going keep tweeting #KKKyle bc that’s who he is, no amount of that white man tears & the houseguest forgiving him bc I don’t have to especially when he made various microaggressions & his tiktoks are to mock black culture #bb24 #StopProtectingKyle pic.twitter.com/thTXZV4Ak4
