Herman Cain died of COVID-19. He attended President Trump’s June 20th rally in Tulsa, where many expert believed he contracted the virus because he wasn’t wearing a mask. Cain briefly vaulted to the top of the pack of Republic presidential contenders in 2011 on the strength of his catchy 9–9–9 tax plan, which advocated replacing taxes with a 9% personal income tax, 9% federal sales tax, and a 9% corporate tax.
He tweeted a photo of himself in the stands with the words: ‘Here’s just a few of the #BlackVoicesForTrump at tonight’s rally! Having a fantastic time!’
The president came under fire for holding a rally as coronavirus cases were rising in Oklahoma and several states. The ongoing rise of Coronavirus across the US can largely be attributed to people refusing to wear mask as many Republicans continue to spread conspiracy theories and false information about COVID 19.
