The Jeremiah Wright controversy gained national attention in the United States, in March 2008 after ABC News investigated the sermons of Jeremiah Wright who was, at that time, the pastor of U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama. Excerpted parts of the sermons were found to pertain to terrorist attacks on the United States and government dishonesty and were subject to intense media scrutiny.
What was lost in the controversy was the warning alarm that Rev. Wright was sounding. That America was ripe for a Racist, Fascist government take over if the ordinary citizens failed to address systematic racism and other inequalities.
Trump yesterday finally confirm Rev. Wright’s worst fears and validated his warnings to Americans. Trump stumped on the American flag in front of the whole world and destroyed America’s core Democratic cornerstone.
Trump warned: “This election will not end well, unless I win.”
